With Rear No.2 Seat For LH Side
REMOVAL1. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER
a. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the reclining hinge cover.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER
a. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Pull the 2 rear seat track bracket covers toward the rear of the vehicle and remove them.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK COVER LH
a. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH fully forward by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
b. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear seat track cover LH.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER LH
a. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear seat track bracket cover inner LH.
5. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER INNER LH
a. Disengage the 2 claws and clip and remove the seat track cover inner LH.
6. REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
b. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side.
c. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH fully forward by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
d. Remove the 3 bolts on the rear side.
e. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH to the center position and adjust the seatback to the vertical position.
f. Remove the rear No.1 seat assembly LH.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL REAR NO.1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Place the rear No.1 seat assembly LH in the vehicle and align the adjuster pin with the hole on the vehicle side.
b. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
c. Temporarily install the front side of the rear No.1 seat assembly LH with the 2 bolts.
d. Recline the separate type rear seatback forward by operating the rear seat lock control lever subassembly.
e. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH fully forward.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
f. Temporarily install the rear side of the rear No.1 seat assembly LH with the 3 bolts.
g. Return the separate type rear seatback to the upright position.
h. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
i. Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the rear No.1 seat assembly LH in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
j. Recline the separate type rear seatback forward by operating the rear seat lock control lever subassembly.
k. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly LH fully forward.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
l. Fully tighten the 3 bolts on the rear side of the rear No.1 seat assembly LH in the order of the inner rear side bolt, the inner front side bolt, and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER INNER LH
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER LH
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK COVER LH
5. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER
6. INSTALL RECLINING HINGE COVER LH
7. INSPECT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK
a. Check that the left and right adjusters lock simultaneously when sliding the seat.
b. If the left and right adjusters do not lock simultaneously, adjust by loosening the bolts securing the seat.
