AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH

1. REMOVE MAGNETIC CLUTCH ASSEMBLY






(a) Place the compressor and magnetic clutch in a vise.
(b) Using SST, remove the bolt, the magnetic clutch hub and the magnetic clutch washer.

(c) Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and the magnetic clutch rotor.
(d) Remove the screw and disconnect the connector.






(e) Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and the magnetic clutch starter.
2. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
