Mute Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Multi-display Controller
DESCRIPTION
The multi-display selector controls the volume according to the mute signal from the radio receiver.
The mute signal is sent to reduce noise and a popping sound generated when switching the mode, etc.
HINT: "Multi-display Controller" refers to the multi-display selector.

1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY SELECTOR
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - MULTI-DISPLAY SELECTOR)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - MULTI-DISPLAY SELECTOR)
(a) Disconnect the F24 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the L23 controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY SELECTOR
(a) Reconnect the L23 controller connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY SELECTOR
OK -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
