2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)
(a) Using SST, install the sensor.
SST: 09224-00010
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
with SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)
HINT:
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). If using a torque wrench with a length that is not 30 cm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification Service Precautions.
- Make sure SST and wrench are connected in a straight line.





2. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)
(a) Using SST, install the sensor.
SST: 09224-00010
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
with SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab Standard Deck) Installation
6. INSTALL FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Installation
7. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD) Installation
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK Installation
