Rear Speed Sensor

BRAKE CONTROL: REAR SPEED SENSOR (for 2WD): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Check the skid control sensor.

Under any of the following conditions, replace the sensor with a new one.

* The surface of the skid control sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped.

* The skid control sensor has been dropped.

2. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

(a) Check the sensor wire.

Under any of the following conditions, replace the sensor with a new one.

* The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.
