DESCRIPTION
The combination meter sub-assembly receives information signals from the hazard warning signal switch assembly, and blinks the turn signal lights.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
(e) Read the display on the Techstream.
Combination Meter
OK:
The display is as specified in the normal condition column.
Result:
B -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
A -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH - COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the L27 combination meter sub-assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open):

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE METER CIRCUIT PLATE Removal
