LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Light Control Switch





Dimmer Switch





Turn Signal Switch





If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

2. INSPECT FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front fog light switch assembly.

(b) Check the illumination operation.

(1) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.

Standard:

Illumination comes on.

If the illumination does not come on, replace the bulb.
