Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front side door sill trim plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.

2. Remove the instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement.





3. Remove the body hinge pillar trim to body retaining screws (1).

4. Disengage the body hinge pillar trim (2) pulling upwards at the front to clear the datum post from the sill panel.

5. Remove the body hinge pillar trim (2) from the vehicle by pulling upwards.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the body hinge pillar trim (2) to the vehicle.

Note:
Ensure the body hinge pillar trim clip is correctly engaged in the A-pillar inner panel.

2. Engage body hinge pillar trim (2) into the A-pillar sheetmetal.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the body hinge pillar trim to body retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement.

5. Install the front side door sill trim plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
