Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the function selector switch is supplied voltage through circuit 364 (BK/LG). When the function selector switch is any position except OFF, voltage is sent from the switch to the blower motor relay coil through circuit 260 (RD/OG). Ground for the blower motor relay coil is provided through circuit 57 (BK). Voltage is supplied to the blower motor relay switch through circuit 181 (BN/OG). When the relay is energized, voltage is supplied to the blower motor through circuit 371 (PK/WH). Ground for the blower motor is supplied by the blower motor resistor or blower switch through circuit 261 (OG/BK).
Possible Causes
- Fuse(s)
- An open in circuit 57 (BK), 260 (RD/OG), 261 (OG/BK), 181 (BN/OG), 364 (BK/LG) or 371 (PK/WH)
- Blower motor
- Blower motor relay
