Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the safety belt switch status from the driver safety belt switch through circuit 469 (LG). The switch sends a ground signal to the instrument cluster, when the safety belt is unfastened, illuminating the safety belt warning indicator.

Possible Causes
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 469 (LG) open or short to ground
- safety belt buckle switch
- instrument cluster
