Test K: One Turn Signal/Hazard Lamp Is Always On
PINPOINT TEST K: ONE TURN SIGNAL/HAZARD LAMP IS ALWAYS ONK1-K2:
Normal Operation - Except STX
When the multifunction switch is placed in the LH or RH TURN position, the multifunction switch routes the voltage to the LH and RH front turn lamps through circuits 3 (LG/WH) and 2 (WH/LB), respectively. The multifunction switch also routes the voltage to the LH and RH rear lamps through the existing stoplamp circuitry.
Normal Operation - STX
When the multifunction switch is placed in the LH or RH TURN position, the multifunction switch routes the voltage to the LH and RH front turn lamps through circuits 3 (LG/WH) and 2 (WH/LB), respectively. The multifunction switch also routes the voltage to the LH and RH rear turn lamps through circuits 9 (LG/OG) and 5 (OG/LB), respectively.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 2 (WH/LB) short to voltage
- Circuit 3 (LG/WH) short to voltage
- Circuit 5 (OG/LB) short to voltage
- Circuit 9 (LG/OG) short to voltage
- Multifunction switch
