TRANSAXLE SUPPORT INSULATOR AND RETAINER - REAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HYBRID

Removal/Installation

All vehicles





1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

Early build





1. Remove the insulator nut.

- To install, tighten to 90 Nm {9.0 kgf-m, 66 ft-lbf}.






2. Remove the 3 bolts and the bracket.

- To install, tighten to 90 Nm {9.0 kgf-m, 66 ft-lbf}.






3. Remove the nuts, heat shield, and insulator.

- To install, tighten to 38 Nm {3.8 kgf-m, 28 ft-lbf}.

Late build





1. Remove the lower support insulator through bolt.






2. Remove the 2 nuts and 1 bolt.






3. Remove the 2 studs.






4. Remove the insulator.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
