Wiper Mounting Arm And Pivot Shaft Removal/Installation

WIPER MOUNTING ARM AND PIVOT SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the cowl top vent panels. See Service and Repair.






2. Remove the 3 windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly bolts and the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly.

- To install, tighten to 9 Nm {0.9 kgf-m, 80 in-lbf}.

3. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

4. Remove the wiper motor assembly. See Windshield Wiper Motor Removal/Installation.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
