REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and setting. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal
- Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Replacement
4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
5. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT COWL TOP OUTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE VACUUM HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE Removal
11. REMOVE FUEL RETURN TUBE Removal
12. REMOVE FUEL MAIN TUBE Removal
13. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD Removal
14. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for ACIS)





(a) Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses.
(b) Remove the 2 bolt, VSV connector and VSV from the intake manifold.
(c) Disconnect the VSV connector.
