B2321 - Driver Side Door ECU Communication Stop
DESCRIPTION
DTC B2321 is output when the communication between the power window regulator motor (driver side) and main body ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.
NOTICE:
When using Techstream to troubleshoot the LIN communication line: Connect Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC B2321)
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester on.
(c) Clear the DTCs.
(d) Recheck the DTCs.
Result
B -- SYSTEM IS OK
A -- Continue to next step.
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (COMMUNICATION D DOOR MOTOR)
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester on.
(c) Read the indication displayed on the tester.
Main body
OK:
OK is displayed on Techstream screen.
OK -- REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU)
NG -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU - REGULATOR MOTOR)
(a) Disconnect the H4 motor connector.
(b) Disconnect the E15 junction block connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC B2321)
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester on.
(c) Clear the DTCs.
(d) Check whether DTC B2321 recurs 10 seconds or more after the ignition switch is turned ON.
OK:
No DTC is output.
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)
OK -- REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU)
