1GR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: AIR PUMP (w/ Secondary Air Injection System): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 3 fittings of the air pump insulator, and install the air pump onto the bracket.

(b) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.

(c) Install the air pump with bracket with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the air pump connector.

(e) Connect the No. 1 air injection system hose as shown in the illustration.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
