SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: REAR SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
(a) Install the rear seat airbag assembly to the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly with 2 new nuts.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the clamp to connect the airbag wire harness.

(c) Engage the 8 hooks to install the rear side seatback cover with pad.

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE Reassembly

3. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK Installation

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

for Separate Type Yaw Rate Sensor: Separate Type Yaw Rate Sensor

for Built-in Type Yaw Rate Sensor: Built-in Type Yaw Rate Sensor
