Installation





INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF HEADLINING: INSTALLATION

1. SET ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front of the vehicle.





NOTICE:
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.

HINT
Temporarily install the roof headlining assembly so that the windshield glass can be installed.

2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD GLASS

Installation

3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Standard Roof)

(a) Install the 5 clips.

(b) Remove the protective cover.

(c) w/o Satellite Radio:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector to the front pillar RH.

(2) Engage the claw and connect the connector to the rear pillar RH.

(d) w/ Satellite Radio:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the front pillar RH.

(2) Engage the claw and clamp, and connect the 2 connectors to the rear pillar RH.

(e) w/o EC Mirror:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector to the front pillar LH.

(f) w/ EC Mirror:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the front pillar LH.

(2) Connect the inner rear view mirror connector.

(g) Install the protective cover.

4. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)

(a) Engage the 15 fasteners.

(b) Install the 3 clips.

(c) Remove the protective cover.

(d) w/o Satellite Radio:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector to the front pillar RH.

(2) Engage the claw and connect the connector to the rear pillar RH.

(e) w/ Satellite Radio:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the front pillar RH.

(2) Engage the claw and clamp, and connect the 2 connectors to the rear pillar RH.

(f) w/o EC Mirror:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector to the front pillar LH.

(g) w/ EC Mirror:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the front pillar LH.

(2) Connect the inner rear view mirror connector.

(h) Install the protective cover.

5. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER

(a) Engage the 2 claws.





(b) Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

6. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Engage the 2 clips to install the visor assembly LH.

7. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Engage the 3 claws to install the visor bracket cover LH.





8. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL FRONT ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

(a) Assemble the front assist grip assembly as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the front assist grip assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the other front assist grip assembly.

11. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

(a) Assemble the rear assist grip assembly as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the rear assist grip assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the other rear assist grip assembly.

12. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws, 2 clips to install the seat belt anchor cover.





13. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Standard Roof) Installation

15. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof) Installation

16. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/ EC Mirror) Installation

17. INSTALL REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH LH

(a) Engage the guide and 4 claws to install the rear roof side rail garnish LH.

18. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Pass the floor anchor of the rear seat outer seat belt assembly LH through the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.

(b) Insert the roof side inner garnish assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration and engage the 3 clips (B).





(c) Insert the roof side inner garnish assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration and engage the 7 clips (A) to install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH and rear roof side rail garnish LH as a unit.

(d) Engage the 2 guides.





(e) Engage the 2 claws to install the belt guide LH.

19. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Engage the 5 clips and 7 claws.

(b) Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

20. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

21. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

22. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 guides.





(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover LH.

23. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Install the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies with the 2 bolts.

24. INSTALL REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

25. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

26. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

27. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

28. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the 6 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.





29. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

30. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

31. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer seat belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish LH.

(b) Engage the 2 clips to install the center pillar garnish LH.

(c) Install the center pillar garnish LH with the bolt.

32. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips to install the center pillar lower garnish LH.

33. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

34. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side) Installation

35. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

(a) Align the alignment mark (Red) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

NOTICE:
After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

36. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) Move the rear seat assembly LH to the foremost position.

(b) Engage the 9 claws and 3 clips to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

37. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Remove the protective cover.

(b) Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.

NOTICE:
If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.

(c) Engage the guide (B).





(d) Engage the 2 guides (A).

(e) Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nosed pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish LH.

HINT
Tape the tip of needle-nosed pliers before use.

(f) Engage the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.





38. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

(a) Align the alignment mark (Yellow) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

39. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Engage the 2 clips.

(b) Install the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH with the clip.

40. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) Engage the 10 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.

41. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

42. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

43. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

44. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

45. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

(a) Align the alignment mark (Blue) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

46. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

47. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

48. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

(a) Align the alignment mark (White) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

49. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

50. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT

51. INSTALL BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws, 4 clips to install the back door scuff plate.

52. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD

(a) Engage the 4 guides and 3 claws.

(b) Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the bolt.

53. INSTALL FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX

(a) install the front deck floor box.

54. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

(a) Install the tonneau cover assembly.

55. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

(a) Engage the 3 claws to install the deck floor box RH.

56. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

(a) Install the rear deck floor box.

57. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD

(a) Install the No. 1 deck board.

58. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD

(a) Install the No. 2 deck board.

59. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the deck board assembly.
