Adaptive cruise control (ACC) activation indicator (green) does not come on

1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Substitute a known-good gauge control module, and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module Service and Repair.�

2. Test the MAIN switch Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Combination Switch Test.

Is the switch OK?

YES -

Go to step 3.

NO -

Replace the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Combination Switch/Distance Switch Removal/Installation.�

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

4. Measure the voltage between cable reel connector B (20P) terminal No. 5 and body ground. There should be about 5 V.





Is the voltage as specified?

YES -

Repair an open in the wire between the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch and body ground.�

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch and the gauge control module.�
