Cylinder Head Bolts

Inspection





Measure diameter of each bolt at point A and point B
Install new bolt if either diameter is less than 11.3 mm (0.44 in)

Tightening Specifications









First pass 30 Nm (3.0 kg-m, 22 lb-ft)
Second pass Tighten 90°
Third pass Tighten 90°
Final pass: If using a new bolt Tighten 90°

Rocker Arm Retainer Bolts 22 Nm (2.2 kg-m, 17 lb-ft)
Tighten each bolt two turns at a time in sequence
