Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Cargo Area

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim or the panels.

Rear Trim Panel

1. Remove the cargo area floor.

2. Remove the tailgate weatherstrip, as needed Service and Repair.

3. Remove the clips (A), then pull up the rear trim panel (B) by hand to detach the clips (C, D).





4. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

Cargo Area Floor

1. Remove the cargo area floor (A).





2. Install the floor in the reverse order of removal.

Cargo Area Lid

1. Fold both the rear seats down.

2. Remove the cargo area cover and the cargo area floor.

3. Pull up the cargo area lid (A) to detach the clips (B, C).





4. Install the lid in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

Side Floor Spacer

1. Remove the cargo area side trim panel, as needed Interior Trim Removal / Installation - Rear Side Area.

2. Remove the side floor spacers (A).





3. Install the spacers in the reverse order of removal.
