Diagnostic Notes

Locate the appropriate system problem. Then perform each step as specified.

Before troubleshooting:

^ Check that grounds are clean and tight.

^ Turn the ignition switch to START and then to the OFF position.

^ Read the security system's owner's manual thoroughly.

^ If the Control Unit is replaced, then the remote control unit must be replaced with one that has a matching serial number.

^ Reset the system by removing, and then reinstalling fuse 13 located in the under-dash fuse block. Replace the fuse if necessary.

^ The remote control's replacement battery is CR2025.
