Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair









MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR

Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the MAP sensor.
4. Remove the two bolts securing the MAP sensor to the mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the MAP sensor on the mounting bracket with two bolts.
2. Connect the vacuum hose to the MAP sensor.
3. Connect the MAP electrical connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
