Variable Induction System: Adjustments
Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Cable Adjustment 1.
Inspect the IMRC actuator cable (A). If there is damage, replace the IMRC cable.

Inspect the cable free play.
Cable free play should be:
3 ± 2 mm (1/8 ± 1/16 in.) If the cable free play is out of specification, loosen the lock nut (B), then adjust the free play.
