Park Pin Switch Test1. Remove the console panel.
2. Disconnect the transmission gear selection switch connector.
3. Shift the shift lever into the [P] position, then check for continuity between the No. 4 and No. 10 terminals. There should be continuity.
4. Shift the shift lever out of the [P] position, and check for continuity between the terminals in step 3. There should be no continuity.
5. If the park pin switch is faulty, replace the detent bracket assembly. (The park pin switch is not available separately.)
