Countershaft Sensor: Service and Repair

Countershaft Speed Sensor Replacement
1. Remove the splash shield.





2. Disconnect the countershaft speed sensor connector, and remove the countershaft speed sensor.
3. Install the new O-ring (A) on the new countershaft speed sensor (B), then install the countershaft speed sensor in the transmission housing.
4. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
5. Install the splash shield.
