Fog/Driving Lamp Switch: Testing and Inspection
Fog Light Switch Test1. Remove the dashboard lower cover.
2. Disconnect the 8P (or 5P*) connector (A) from the fog light switch (B).
3. Pull the fog light switch out from the dashboard lower cover.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals:
- There should be continuity between the No. 4 and No. 5 (No. 1 and No. 2*) terminals with the fog light switch OFF.
- There should be continuity between the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 (No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3*) terminals with the fog light switch ON.
*: '04 model
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
6. If necessary, check the illumination bulbs (C).
