Reverse Lock System Circuit Troubleshooting1. Check whether DTC P0705 or P0706 is indicated.
Is either DTC indicated?
YES - Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO - Go to step 2.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
3. Shift the shift lever to P while pushing the shift lock release.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
5. Press the brake pedal and release the accelerator pedal, shift the shift lever out of P, and check that the shift lock solenoid operates.
Does the shift lock solenoid work properly?
YES - Check the reverse lock (shift lock mechanism). If the mechanism does not work, repair or replace the shift lever assembly.
