Ignition Key Switch Test

1. Remove the driver's dashboard undercover, Driver's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation and the driver's dashboard lower cover, Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover Removal/Installation then remove the steering column covers. Steering Column Removal/Installation

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the ignition switch control unit.

3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 3 and No. 6.
- There should be continuity with the key in the ignition switch.

- There should be no continuity with the key removed.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, faulty ignition switch control unit; replace the steering lock assembly. Service and Repair

5. Do the Ignition Switch Control Unit Registration. Testing and Inspection
