Front Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Front Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- The door glass outer weatherstrip will need replacement because it will bend during removal.

- Take care not to scratch the door and related parts.

1. Remove these items:
- Door panel Front Door Panel Removal/Installation

- Door glass inner weatherstrip Front Door Panel Removal/Installation

- Door sash inner trim Front Door Sash Inner Trim Replacement

- Power mirror Power Mirror Replacement

2. Starting at the front, pull the door glass outer weatherstrip (A) up at each portion where the inner molding (B) catches the inside edge of the window slot, and then detach the rear clip (C), then remove the weatherstrip.

3. Install a new weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and push it into place securely.
