SYMPTOM

The trailing edge of the hood vibrates or flutters when you drive on rough roads or at highway speeds.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Insufficient support from the rear hood seal on the cowl cover.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the rear hood seal.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





1. Pull the original hood seal up and away from the flange on the cowl cover.





2. Press the new hood seal down onto the flange, making sure it is firmly in place.
