Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2709

DTC 2709:

Flash-ROM Diag

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when a problem with the audio-navigation unit internal VRAM is detected.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).

3. Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu Navigation System Diagnostic Mode.

4. Select the System Links, then select the ECU Info.

Is Flash OK indicated?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

NO -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.�
