Tailgate Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel .

3. Remove the rear license trim Service and Repair.

4. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the tailgate outer handle switch (B).






5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.






6. If the continuity is not as specified, remove the two bolts, and replace the tailgate outer handle switch.
