Connecting Rod Bolts

Inspection
Measure the diameter of each bolt at point A and point B

Calculate the difference in diameter between point A and point B

Point A-Point B = Difference in Diameter

Difference in diameter specification 0-0.1 mm (0-0.004 in)

If difference in diameter is out of specification, replace bolt

Tightening Sequence
First step 41 Nm (4.2 kg-m, 30 lb-ft)
Second step Tighten an additional 120°
