Cold Start Injector

Ignition Timing (vacuum hoses connected) -- 6° +/- 1° BTDC
Idle Speed (oxygen sensor & all hoses connected) -- 850 - 1000 rpm
Oxygen sensor system testing (duty cycle method):
Checking specification -- 4 - 16 mA
Adjustment specification -- 9 - 11 mA
CO specification (at exhaust manifold sample pipe) -- 0.3% - 1.2%
With engine running, duty cycle should fluctuate slightly.
Fuel Pump Volume (cc/30 sec.):
760cc at 12vdc
600cc at 11vdc
460cc at 10vdc
320cc at 9vdc
System Pressure -- 5.2 - 5.6 bar (75 - 81 psi)
Differential Pressure:
Connector disconnected from regulator -- 0.2 - 0.5 bar (3 - 7 psi) below system pressure
Connector connected to regulator, ignition ON, and a 15K ohm resistor (VW 1490 or equivalent) connected to the temp. sensor plug -- 0.7 - 1.2 bar (10 - 17 psi) below system pressure
Differential Pressure regulator resistance -- 17.5 - 21.5 ohms
Residual Pressure:
After 10 min -- 2.6 bar (38 psi)
After 20 min -- 2.4 bar (36 psi)
Injectors:
Fuel quantity after 20 sec. at full throttle -- 80 ml
Max. difference between injectors -- 8 ml
Thermo-time Switch:
Minimum voltage supply -- 11.5vdc

Cold start injector:
Minimum voltage supply -- 11.5vdc

Air flow meter potentiometer (measured at the ECU plug):
Between terminals 14 & 17 -- less than 1K ohm
Between terminals 17 & 18 -- at least 4K ohm
