Basic Setting (Function 04)

The function 04 is used to reset the adaptive learning value for the throttle potentiometer to the base value.
This is necessary if the potentiometer is replaced or adjusted, or if the control unit is replaced.

PROCEDURES TO CHECK MEMORY

- Connect the VAG 1551, Refer to Connecting and Operating VAG 1551 Scan Tool Scan Tool Connecting

- After the display appears as shown:

Select function XX

- Select function code.

- Display will appear as shown:

- Press Q button to enter input.

- Enter 0 and 0

- Display will appear as shown:

- Press the accelerator pedal down to kickdown and hold for 3 seconds

- Press the "arrow" button.
