Exhaust Gas Recirculation: Specifications

EGR temperature sensor
With the ignition ON, approximately 5 vdc should be available at the harness plug
With the sensor submerged in boiling water, the resistance should be between 80,000 and 160,000 ohms

EGR frequency valve duty cycle 32 +/- 10% at 2000 RPM

EGR valve
Apply 130 +/- 20 mbar (3.8 +/- 0.6 in Hg) of vacuum to the EGR valve. Resistance should be between 1000 and 19,000 ohms.
