DTC 2111

^ No signal from engine speed sensor.

This code may be caused by:

a. Open or grounded circuit between sensor terminal #1 and ECU terminal 13B.
b. Open circuit between ECU terminal 25B and sensor terminals #2 and/or #3.
c. Sensor base loose.
d. Air gap between sensor and teeth of flywheel ring gear too large (greater than 1.2 mm).
e. Excess accumulation of metal shavings or other ferrous materials on sensor tip.
f. Flywheel ring gear damaged (missing or severely worn teeth).
g. Faulty sensor or 3 pin connector mixed up with crankshaft position sensor connector.
h. Faulty ECU.
