Flow Of Diagnosis:

1. Be sure to verify the complaint! Use the Driveability and Repair Worksheets.
2. Always check for applicable TSB's.
3. Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS for fault code extraction in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS. Be sure to review CHECKING THE BASICS.
4. ALWAYS read all of the DIAGNOSTIC NOTES supplied in the TESTING PROCEDURES.
5. Depending upon whether fault codes are present or not, follow the steps as outlined in the FLOW OF DIAGNOSIS.
