Fog/Driving Lamp: Description and Operation

Circuit Description
Electrical power for the fog lights is supplied by the fog light relay via fuse #1 (S1) on the main fuse/relay panel. The fog light relay is actuated, supplying power from the "X" (load-reduction) circuit to the front fog light switch and the rear fog light switch whenever the ignition switch and the headlight switch (low beam) are on.

The front fog light switch turns on only the front fog lights. The rear fog light switch overrides the front fog light switch and turns on both front and rear fog lights.


WARNING: The driver-side airbag is an explosive device. Before removing the steering wheel or steering column switches, always disconnect the airbag power-supply connector, refer to "Air Bag Systems" for more information.
