CAMBER

Camber is the amount of centerline of the wheel is tilted inward or outward from true vertical, Fig. 1. If a wheel tilts outward, camber angle is positive. If the top of a wheel tilts inward, camber angle is negative.

CASTER

Caster is the forward or rearward tilt of the top of the front wheel spindle, Fig. 2. If the top of the spindle tilts to the rear, caster is positive. If the top of the spindle tilts to the front, caster is negative.

TOE

Toe should only be checked and adjusted after the caster and camber have been adjusted to specification.
Check toe with the front wheels in the straight ahead position. Lock steering wheel in place and measure distance between extreme front and also between the extreme rear of both front wheels. The difference between these two distances is the toe-in or toe-out dimensions, Fig. 3.
