Read Measuring Value Block (VAG 1551 Function 08)

- One measuring value block with 4 display fields is used.
- If the printer is switched on, the display is automatically printed out.
- Before reading measuring value block, check Diagnostic Trouble memory and eliminate or repair malfunctions as necessary. Manual Air Conditioning (A/C) (Via Scan Tool)
- Leave engine running after checking DTC memory
- Switch A/C on
- Insert "AC/Heating Electronics" address word 08.

1 - A/C compressor switch-off conditions.
2 - Engine speed (RPM)
3 - A/C compressor speed (RPM)
4 - Compressor drive belt slippage in percent (%)

NOTE:
- Compressor drive belt slippage up to 30 % is permissible.
- Belt slippage greater than 30 %, but less than 60 %, results in the A/C compressor switching off for approx. 10 seconds.
- If belt slippage greater than 30 % but less than 60 % occurs 10 times within one driving period, the A/C compressor is no longer switched on for that driving period.
- Belt slippage greater than 60 % results in the A/C compressor being switched off for the entire period.
