Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

1. Remove windshield wiper arms, refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR.
2. Pry linkage from wiper shaft ball sockets, Fig. 13.
3. Pry linkage from center crank ball socket, then remove linkage from vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lubricate ball sockets with suitable lubricant.
b. Torque wiper arm retaining nuts to 11.8 ft. lbs.
