Seat Cover, Removing And Installing

- Remove backrest.







- Carefully open clamp wire - 1 - on left and right.
- Pry seat cover - 3 - out of support rail - 2 -.
- Bend open metal tabs - 4 -.







- Cut through wire clamps and remove seat cover.
- Use VAG1634 upholstery pliers to install new wire clamps.

Removing and installing footwell trim for seat frame
- Remove seat.
- Remove backrest.







- Bend open metal tabs - 1 - (4x) and detach foot well trim - 3 -.
- Release original equipment retaining clips (retaining clips are not reused for installation).
- Pull footwell trim - 3 - from seat frame.
- To install footwell trim - 3 -, apply adhesive onto shaded area.
- Attach footwell trim - 3 - using universal adhesive D 001 200.
