Scan Tool Functions, Selecting
After establishing diagnostic communication, checking the control module version and pressing --> button, proceed as follows:
Indicated on display

You can now select one of the functions listed below. Start the troubleshooting routine with function 02 "Check DTC Memory".

The other functions listed here are described in the relevant parts of this information.
When a function has been performed and completed, press --> button in order to return to the start position of the troubleshooting routine: "Select function".
Erasing DTC memory
Requirements:
- DTC memory has been checked
- Press -4- button.
Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -5- for the function "Erase DTC memory".
Indicated on display
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

- Press --> button.

Notes:
^ If this appears in the display, the test sequence has not been performed correctly.
^ Keep exactly to the test sequence: First check DTC memory, then erase DTC memory in the same diagnostic cycle.
Ending Output
Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -6- for the function "End Output".
Indicated on display
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
Indicated on display
- Switch off ignition.
- Disconnect scan tool.
