Timing Belt

1 Camshaft sprocket bolt.
^ Torque to 30Nm (22 ft lb) plus an additional 1/2 turn (180°).
2 Camshaft locking plate.
^ Side with inscribed lettering always faces camshaft.
^ Large bore in side is used to correctly position camshafts.
3 Camshaft sprocket.
^ Tighten camshaft sprockets after toothed belt tension is adjusted.
4 Toothed belt tensioner.
^ Torque bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft lb).
5 Toothed belt.
6 Upper toothed belt covers.
7 Lower toothed belt cover.
^ Torque bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft lb).
8 Idler pulley.
^ Torque bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft lb).
