Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Highmount Brake Light, Servicing







The high-mount brake light is located on the rear parcel shelf.


NOTE:
- The brake light harness connector is located on bulb carder -3-.
- The housing for the taillight brake lens -5- is fastened to the rear parcel shelf with Phillips- head screws from below.
- Brake light bulbs -4- (4 x 12V, 5W) are inserted into bulb carrier -3-.


Removing

- Remove housing cover -1- by hand in direction of arrow.
- Remove screws -2- (2x Phillipshead) and remove bulb carrier -3- in direction of arrow.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
