Headlight Automatic Vertical Aim Control, Overview

CAUTION! Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system

NOTE: Before disconnecting the battery, determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
After reconnecting the battery, check and activate the vehicle's electrical equipment (radio, clock, comfort and convenience features, etc.).






1. Xenon headlights with headlight beam adjusting motors -V48-/-V49-

2. Left front level control system sensor -G78-
On front axle, left lower track control link
Removing and installing refer to Headlamp Alignment Sensor - Service and Repair - Procedure

3. Left rear level control system sensor -G76- (all wheel drive)
At left rear suspension link

4. Left rear level control system sensor -G76- (front wheel drive)
On rear axle

5. Automatic vertical aim control system control module -J431-
Under right rear seat bench
