Windshield, Removing, Installing And Assembly Overview







1 - Windshield
- Removing windshield
- Installing windshield
- Clearance to roof: dimension - a - = 4 mm

NOTE: Any stickers to be placed on the windshield (e.g. airbag) must be placed at same position on new window.

2 - Cover strip
- Slide to center before installation of window
- Note installation marking on cover strip Fig. 1.
3 - Adhesive bead
- Pay attention to thickness of adhesive bead and windshield frame clearance gap







4 - Spacers
- Pay attention to thickness of various spacers Fig. 1.
- Thickness of external spacers (2x) = 6.5 mm
- Thickness of internal spacers (2x) = 7.5 mm

- Glue three internal spacers - 6 - (thickness = 7.5 mm) centered to both window and window wiper markings - 5 - at distance to lower edge of dimension - b - = 25 mm ± 5 mm.
- Glue external spacers - 4 - (thickness = 6.5 mm) at distance to lower external edge of dimension -a- = 0-5 mm.
- When installing cover strip - 2 - on window - 1 - make sure notches (arrow) engage flush with window edge.
