Rear bumper assembly, removing and installing (Sedan)1 - Screw
1.5 Nm (13 in lb)
2 - Guide piece, left/right
• Unclip bumper from guide piece
• Push bumper down at ends and pull out of guide piece
3 - Expanding nut
4 - Bolt w/washer
25 Nm (18 ft lb)
5 - Trim strip, left

Adjusting:
- Remove bumper
- Loosen bolts -7-
- Align strip to left/right side strips -5-, -8-
7 - Bolt w/washer
2.5 Nm (22 in lb)
8 - Trim strip, right

2.5 Nm (22 in lb)
10 - Bumper w/cover
Removing:
- Remove bolts -11-
- Unclip bumper ends from guide piece -2-
- Pull bumper ends downward and out of guides
- Pry bumper ends over wheel opening and remove toward front
Installing:
- Pry bumper ends over edge of wheel opening
- Guide bumper onto impact absorber and into guide piece
Note: Bumper ends must be pushed as far as possible into wheel opening. They may be adjusted in or out by turning the inside tube of impact absorber. One turn of tube will alter distance 7.0 mm (0.039 in.). After adjustment trim strips must be adjusted to fit bumper
